These terms cover the work Blitz does for the people who commission it, and the use of this website. Where a signed quote or contract says something different, that document wins over this page.
Every project starts with a written scope, a price and a date. The price is fixed against that scope — we do not bill by the hour. If the scope changes while we are building, we agree the change and what it costs in writing before doing it, never after.
You own what we build for you. The repository, the infrastructure, the domain and every account are in your name from the first day, so you can take everything elsewhere at any moment without asking us.
Open-source components keep their own licences, which travel with the code. We keep nothing but the general know-how we came in with, and that limits nothing you can do with your product.
For twelve months after launch, bugs, questions and small changes are included and not billed by the hour. A small change is one that does not move the agreed scope; anything that adds to it is quoted first, like any other work.
Hosting, domains and paid third-party services are billed to you directly by those providers, in your name. Nothing reaches you with our margin on top.
Amounts, instalments and dates are set out in the written quote for each project, before work starts. There is nothing to discover later.
Either side can end a project. What happens to work already done and to sums already paid is set out in the same written quote. Whatever exists at that moment is already in your name, so there is no handover to negotiate — you simply keep it.
The pages here describe what we do. They are not an offer and not a contract: a project exists once there is a written quote that both sides have accepted.
Italian law applies to these terms.
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with it. A project already under way keeps the terms agreed when it started.
